Capability Group has established a Singapore-based Advisory Board to support its expansion across the SEA region.  Following a robust recruitment process with support from NZTE and Board Dynamics we are really excited to announce the following two appointments.

Laura Ashton
Laura Ashton is appointed to the position of Chair. Laura brings over 30 years of Board-level, global and regional executive leadership and entrepreneurial experience. She served on the Board of Directors of ASX-listed digital company APD where she was also Chair of the Remuneration and Nominations committee.

Laura has a background in consumer-packaged goods from her home country, Canada, and has held Global and Asia Pacific marketing leadership roles with Shell, Electrolux and Philips. Over the past decade, she has focused her strategy, marketing, digital transformation and leadership development skills on the professional services sector. Laura has held AP/Global executive roles in high-end consulting, law and tax, including the launch of virtual legal marketing services business, Xunama. She is a co-founding partner of global sustainable development consultancy, Low Carbon Advisors.

‍Sarita Singh
Sarita Singh is the Director of Global Business Group for Southeast Asia and Emerging Markets at Facebook, where she leads the teams responsible for helping to build communities across 6 key markets.

Prior to Facebook, Sarita spent several years at Google and has previously worked salesforce.com, Oracle and Hewlett Packard in various sales, marketing and operations roles.

Sarita is a passionate advocate of emerging markets and helping to drive diversity in the technology industry and start up community with various board positions including Female Founders.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from RMIT University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
